High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience in custodial work preferred

Essential Job Functions:
- Overall Cleanliness of Building.
- Keeps the premises neat and clean (ie: dusting, sweeping, dumping trash)
- Shovels snow from walkways and steps when needed
- Cleans and maintains classrooms, restrooms and all other assigned facilities (Ag building, central office etc.)
- Arrange or rearrange rooms as requested
- Performs storage and delivery tasks as required
- Washes windows and cleans chalkboards as scheduled
- Monitors all motors and mechanical equipment and immediately reports any malfunctions
- Safety of Facilities and Property
- Performs routine maintenance and security checks
- Participates in the opening or closing of the building each day as assigned and determine before leaving that all doors and windows are secured and all lights are turned off, except those left on for safety reasons
- Reports needed repairs to the maintenance director
- Reports vandalism and other damage to school property to school officials
- Adheres to good safety practices.
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned
- Follows all board policies and procedures

Terms of Employment:
|
Employed for 12 months 8 hours per day. The salary and benefits set by the board annually.

Evaluation:
|
The evaluation is conducted by the maintenance director and building principal according to board policy and The Concordia R-II adopted model of performance based evaluation.
